Yes that’s right! We are back at the ExCel Centre on 8-10 October to bring you guys 2 days of the very latest in web technologies and trends brought to you by truly inspirational industry experts.

Which brings me nicely onto our line up this year! (i know thats what you all want to hear!)

Introducing our lovely conference chairs

As well as fantastic speakers we have invited 2 of the best in the business to bring their ideas to FOWA.

As last year, the schedule is split into 2 exciting tracks, the Development track and the Business track, so whether you’re an Developer, Designer, Entrepreneur or Student there will be something for everyone!

Development track chair – Simon Willison is a seasoned FOWA conference chair so we jumped at the chance to have him back with us again.

Business track chair – Simon Wardley is a real industry expert so we are so pleased to be able to pick his brains for ideas this year!

Bigger expo floor!

FOWA 07 completely sold out and this time the expo area is going to be even bigger! From big companies with new apps to try, games and practical advice from the experts to small startups with cool new ideas, expect this and more at FOWA 08!

The floor will be split into 4 main themes, Mobile, Small Business, Funding and Development. It’s your chance to meet tons of amazing people behind some of the leading products in the industry, mingle with other attendees over a coffee or a beer and attend one or all of the fantastic new FOWA universities.

These are mini workshops of 35 mintues long taking place right on the expo floor on 9th and 10th! They are offered to all attendees so grab a coffee in the break and come along!

As the event’s going to be bigger than it ever has been, it got us thinking about how many more tasks there are to do! Last time we were innundated with requests from people who wanted to be at the event, but just couldn’t afford a ticket. That’s why this time we’ve decided that we want to build our conference team from you guys.

From registration assistants to technical assistants we need the whole kit and kaboodle and we’d love people from the industry that are passionate about the same things as us. In return, you’ll be given a 2 day conference pass to the event, which means you’ll still see lots of the great content, meet lots of great people and have a ton of fun along the way!

We’ll be choosing volunteers on a first come first serve basis, so if you’re interested please email mel at carsonsystems.com
