We can’t say thank you enough!

By Mel Kirk

On behalf of the team, I’d like to thank you so much for coming to FOWA and making it such a success. It really matters to us that you guys have the best possible time and that you leave on a high – so to have received emails and comments from so many of you over the last few days has made all of the hard work worthwhile.

Before we go on to thinking about planning FOWA Miami, I’d be so grateful if you could find the time to spend a couple of minutes giving us feedback on the event, so that the next event can be better again. You are able to leave feedback here.

We had such a blast and really hope that you did too. I’ve tried to include a couple of my personal highlights below…

I should at this point, highlight the fact that never before have so many men try to push me out of the way to get to another man. With concerns that the stage might actually collapse, I was forced to shout (not a regular occurrence for me, I promise), only to be met by blank looks, as if to say – do you not realise who these people are?

Thank you so much once again, we really hope to see you at the next event, but in the meanwhile we’d love to hear from you if you have any feedback or suggestions. If you get time, you should also check out the new Carsonified site – although it should be said, that I will not be held accountable for my Twitter updates 🙂

Can’t wait for Miami 08. How long till the MP3s are uploaded?

Miami – woot as the cool kids would say!

We’re working on the MP3s as we speak and will get them up asap. Unfortunately some of the audio was sent to us in the post whilst there was a postal strike! We will edit and post as soon as we possibly can though. Please bear with us…. thanks so much 🙂

Hi. I really enjoyed the conference. Thank you very much. I am also looking forward to accessing mp3, caz I could not attend some of interesting lectures due to conflict.

BTW, Here is the photo I took at FOWA. I was taking lots of pictures like crazy(total was over 300 for 2 days),and some people who I met asked to send photos.

Hope everybody like it (and find them on the photo somewhere).

I spend a really small amount of time there, because I mainly came for the live diggnation, but I certainly had a great time!
Just one question, what is the delay for the conference in a box to arrive to me?

    Cheers!

    Hi Mel,

I’ve already submitted my feedback but just wanted to say how much I loved and enjoyed the conference and thought I’d sum up the reasons below:

    1. SIZE! The conference was not too big to get lost and not too small to get bored

    2. EXCELLENT speakers. Though, I would like to see more presenters and seating space on the Marketing/Entrepreneurial track. The range of speakers was amazing.

    3. NETWORKING. I found it really easy to meet up with with fellow bloggers and other interested parties in Web 2.0

    4. PERSONAL TOUCH. The Carsonified team really add a fantastic personal touch to the event. It was my first FOWA, but I could really feel the hard word, dedication and love put into making the conference a s uccess

    5. STUDENT PASS. A MASSIVE thank you for thinking of us students with Academic pricing. You guys ROCK!

    6. VIBE. The vibe was amazing. It is very rare to see developers and marketing/business types under the same roof without a fight! But the atmosphere was amazing. The shooting of Diggnation was amazing too.

    7. VENUE. Easy reach by tube.

P.S. That’s me in the bottom right of the pic!

    Cheers

    Jas

Hi Makoto, as per my email – I sincerely apologise for the delay in getting the conference in a box sent to you. Circumstances outside of our control have meant that there was a delay in us receiving the coverage. We will get this posted to you as soon as possible though.

Jas – thankyou so much for your amazing feedback, I can’t tell you how much it means to us.Everything that you listed was exactly what we were trying to achieve and to hear that you enjoyed it makes it all worthwhile. I hope to be able to see you at future events…

    Mel 🙂
